I forsee people who would normally vote either Tory or Labour sitting at home, but Lib Dem voters and voters for all the smaller parties and the independents voting in force.&lt;/p&gt;

If nothing else, voting gives you some justification to complain about the group in charge - either they&#039;re not the ones you voted for, in which case you can complain because they&#039;re not doing it properly, or they&#039;re the ones you voted for, in which case you can complain because they&#039;re not doing what they said they were going to do!&lt;/p&gt;
